Access Granted to the Future
Osentric Studios creates a brand new image for the Higher Education Conference at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Working closely with the African Student Union (ASU) at UCLA, designs were taken from concept to product months in advance of the event. Here is what a representative from ASU had to say about Osentric Studio’s work on the conference artwork: Thanks so much, I love what we have. That is exactly what we wanted and what I was talking about. Perfect.

In its ninth year of continued success, ASU’s Higher Education Conference fused entertainment with education and drew over 500 African American teenagers from surrounding Los Angeles area high schools to the UCLA campus. Appropriately, the theme for this year was Access Granted: Making the College Student, a phrase representative of the increased opportunities that surface after preparing for and obtaining a college education. This year’s Higher Education Conference raised awareness by means of guest speakers, special performances, a career fair, and multiple workshops on topics such as college admissions, financial aid, and culture. At the end of the day, students walked away with a wealth of information and tools to assist them in making a wise decision about their future educations and careers.
